I just put together this Ikea cart I bought last weekend. I needed more shelving for paperbacks and don't have a lot of room in my apartment for new shelving, so thought this was perfect. Plus, easy to move. ☺️

Working through the Maiden Lane series by Elizabeth Hoyt amongst other series piling up on my nightstand. Love a series so much! ❤️
This sounds like a duke I'd like to meet... 😂 Here are the #Audies2017 finalists in Romance.
A deliciously villainous and vain hero. Turns out I like bad boys in historicals as well as contemporaries. He's an a**hole with one tiny spot of mush found by our heroine, of course.
Oh, I loved this. The hero is one of those elusive Gamma types, and the heroine was ever-so practical and smart. That's my catnip, and it's unfortunate (for me) that there aren't more books like this out there. I thought the writing and characterizations were lovely. My only nitpick is that the end felt a bit rushed.
Valentine! This is one of my fav male characters yet! He's wicked, dark, and perfectly mysterious. You never know his next move... He spurns societies strictures and stays to his own agenda. Reading this type of character fall in love ...😍 is just everything.
"You must kill the thing you love." Poor Val. I've waited to see what makes him tick, and loved the story!
Heroes (and I'm using that word loosely right now) like Val are far and few between. He wasn't your average broody alpha male. He was twisted and vain. The plot kept me engaged. Imo one of the best books in the series.
Mrrrrr. Yas, redemption arc, yas. Val is mad, bad, and dangerous to know (sociopathic, murderous, and power-mad). Hoyt didn't make him nice - bc that would never work - so she made him damaged. Bridget is a perfect foil.
(But I will forever think he looks like Tom Hollander, who has the right eyes)
"I have been waiting for this book for SO LONG and it was worth it.... If you love a hero with an ulterior motive, a man who is capable of doing dark and monstrous things to achieve his version of justice, then you're going to love Duke of Sin." -Smart Bitches, Trashy Books
Book 10 in Elizabeth Hoyt's bestselling Maiden Lane series. If you enjoy historical romance do not miss this series!
5/5 ⭐️ So delicious I didn't want it to end! Val is a wild and wicked hero with a tragic past, and Bridget is the perfect heroine to keep up with him. 10 books into the Maiden Lane series and Elizabeth Hoyt is still delivering fresh and intriguing stories. I'll be counting down the days until #11!
"This is for everyone who ever fell hopelessly in love with... the Villain." ? Love this dedication!!!
