Working through the Maiden Lane series by Elizabeth Hoyt amongst other series piling up on my nightstand. Love a series so much! ❤️

Got this as an audio book for my daughter on a road trip. Made her follow along with the actual text too. Not an audio fan but it's been surprisingly enjoyable in the car for everyone.

Finishing the Julian Kestrel series over vacation. ❤️🤓🕶🚙🏖

#tbrtuesday My pile is gone and I haven't had time to replenish it! Maybe I'll just reread Harry Potter? Any other suggestions out there? Historical fiction preferred.

This is the first of the Julian Kestrel series. I found Mr. Kestrel an interesting and entertaining gentleman. Not too much development of side characters, though I hope his Dr friend appears in subsequent books. Solid entry to, what will hopefully become, a solid mystery series.

This a good, not great, Regency mystery. Captain Lacey is delightfully broken and the mystery was equally developed. Supporting characters need work and the ending felt rushed. However, I'm looking forward to the next in the series to see if improvements have been made.
