Meh

so-so

While I still enjoy to come along on Genevieve's adventure, this volume was a little stale. The mystery was pretty see through, the lack of development between the cop and the "criminals" pretty annoying and the dialogues wooden. I still think I will read the next one in hopes of improvement.

Meh

so-so

Maybe I would have liked this better if I had read the first two books. The mystery was so-so for me. The MC was supposed to be an autistic super brainiac that could read people for subtle cues. I felt like the author just threw in Latin medical terms for facial expressions to make the MC sound smart. By the end, i was just glad it was done. This is for my #LRC2017 prompt #19 by an indie publisher.
