Ooooh I'm so excited to read these 2 books @Endowarrior21 !! And I loooove the It theme -- the keychain, pin, and stickies are so cool!! The ornament is already on the tree and looks awesome, and the bookmark is so wonderful - I love the colors and texture!! I can't help myself, really. Went to the library today & bought 2 books for the kids and took the tagged book out for me. It's been eye level on the end of a stack and catches my eye every time. Might as well take it out but I mean, I have 2 audio and zero time to sit and read... but whatever...
bailedI was really hooked in the beginning by the author‘s commitment to staying true to the source material. However, this book made me realize why Robert Louis Stevenson didn‘t make his novella focus much on Hyde to begin with; Hyde‘s entire life is dictated by someone else, so he has little to no volition. This lack of a proactive protagonist is ultimately what bored me into ditching the book.
