⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
The Heartbeats of Wing Jones was a really good book that I enjoyed reading a lot. It was not my favourite but it is somewhere close. This book can relate to any teenager with a problem fitting in especially with family problems. I rate this book a 9/10
Might try to start this one, if I can manage a break in my Brandon Sanderson frenzy. 🙊
Excerpt from Katherine Webbers new book The Heartbeats of Wing Jones, now up on www.hiddengembooks.net 💜
I've been great reading down my monthly to-read list in January. This one is up now. I adore the author and think this book will hit all my contemporary ya sweet spots. The cover -- not yet on my ARC but live elsewhere -- is a puddle reflection which is one of my favorite things.
Falling head over heels in love with this book! 😍 #BoutofBooks #amreading #currentlyreading
*A full review will go live on my blog tomorrow*
Wing Jones was a stunning book that I absolutely loved. It filled me with so many emotions and I just thought is was a wonderful read. It is a book about a girl who learns who she is, what she can do, and what that means to her. It is a powerful and strong book with a diverse cast that I would highly recommend!
This was such a beautiful book. Wing was a wonderful main character surrounded by a host of great side characters. Definitely a book to read.
Started reading this book yesterday and already really love it. Very intrigued to see where it goes.
Also in the UK it us just called Wing Jones.
Started reading Wing Jones yesterday and I'm starting the final third now. Such great voice for all the characters! Particularly love Granny Dee and LaoLao 😊
#currentlyreading it seems to have a different title. This is the UK/Aus version I believe. Due out here in March #preview #sad #grief Looking forward to Wing finding her wings #weneeddiversebooks
Really enjoyed seeing Katie Webber chat to Our Chemical Hearts author Krystal Sutherland at Queen's Park Books! Katie let me take a photo of her Wing Jones phone case (this is the UK cover) - how cool is this?!
I'll post a proper review closer to the release date. But, Wing Jones was proper 'punch the air' fantastic!
Really enjoying this book - and it inspired me to finally go for a run!
