so-soThis isn‘t an easy one to rate. At moments it was too ridiculous and then by the end I was kind of in love with the story of these characters.
I enjoyed seeing Alex grow as a character throughout along with her really awesome friends. This is a massive slow burn and build up romance with no open door scenes.
I‘m left feeling interested in book 2 and seeing where it goes.
so-soI am giving London belongs to me three stars. I love the descriptions of London. Felt like I was actually there. There was a major issue with the main character Alex. It was hard to relate to her. She has certain traits that are annoying. She did not put up a fight with Olivia until the end. The romance was a bore. Mark was a flat character. The best friends were better written. It sad to say but feel like book would have been better without Alex.

Please don't assume that you have to tackle problems on your own. Life is a bastard. Don't push people away, especially when you need them the most.
#Booktober #BestOfOctober These two were definitely the best of the month. They are quite different but good in their own way.
pickI really enjoyed this book. It was a great Debut and a lovely story. Not only about an outsider finding her place in the world but about life and overcoming challenges. I loved the characters, I want a Lucy and a Freddie for myself. And lets not forget about Mark! Alex was a great character, you can understand her, she feels real. The ending part was my favorite, I like those endings, I needed something like that. I HIGHLY recommend it.
