In response to the events of this weekend. Hopefully this country will continue to provide shelter from the storm. You can read this in its entirety on the Pocket Poetry app. #LitsyPoetry365
Oh, where have you been, my blue-eyed son?
Oh, where have you been, my darling young one?
I‘ve stumbled on the side of twelve misty mountains
I‘ve walked and I‘ve crawled on six crooked highways
I‘ve stepped in the middle of seven sad forests
I‘ve been out in front of a dozen dead oceans
I‘ve been ten thousand miles in the mouth of a graveyard
And it‘s a hard, and it‘s a hard, it‘s a hard, and it‘s a hard
And it‘s a hard rain‘s a-gonna fall
I woke up on the roadside
Daydreamin' 'bout the way things sometimes are
Visions of your chestnut mare
Shoot through my head and are makin' me see stars
You hurt the ones that I love best
And cover up the truth with lies
One day you'll be in the ditch
Flies buzzin' around your eyes
Blood on your saddle

'Reading' some Bob Dylan lyrics to understand this decision by the Nobel Prize committee this morning.. I always liked his songs but a Nobel Literature Prize??
Congratulations to #BobDylan on the Nobel!
Here's a quote from one of my favourite songs of his, "Just Like A Woman"
What's money? A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to.

My clothes are wet, tight on my skin
Not as tight as the corner that I painted myself in
I know that fortune is waitin‘ to be kind
So give me your hand and say you‘ll be mine
Well, the emptiness is endless, cold as the clay
You can always come back, but you can‘t come back all the way
Only one thing I did wrong
Stayed in Mississippi a day too long
