Not her best, but certainly not her worst.
I loved the concept of the art inspired by people's confessions. The rest was a bit tedious.
Very sweet book. Loved the characters. Fast paced which I loved. Not a lot of fluff which is exactly what I wanted. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
done!
⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pretty standard CoHo fare: drama, cheese, stress, intensity, frustration. I loved the idea of Owen‘s art being fueled by anonymous confessions. With this, I‘ve completed Hoover‘s backlist! Now, I‘m ready for something new in 2024.
Colleen Hoover has me feeling quite conflicted. The first book I read of hers, I was not a fan. The second book, I loved. Then along comes Confess. At the beginning I wasn‘t sure how I felt about it and was honestly leaning towards dislike. Though the end of the book had me hooked and I loved it. Owen and Auburn had an adorable and heart breaking journey together and the end made me almost cry.
This book broke my heart in a million ways. I‘ve never been so sad and happy at one time . Just read it
February 25, 2023 I just finished that book in one sitting!!!!! Like what!!!!! Every single book that Colleen Hoover writes touches my heart. She writes sad books that people can relate to in some wy. I don't know how she comes up with the theme of the book she writes, but she really makes the reader (me) feel a bunch of emotions at once. The relationship between Owen and Auburn was meant to be. Love conquers all in the end. So long Trey...
February 24, 2023 I am on page 173 and the quote that Colleen Hoover writes on page 172 speaks volumes and sums up what the story is about. Auburn thought she knew Owen and felt a great love for him until her Uncle Trey, who is a cop, comes to Owen's apartment and leaks his confession he never shares. Owen had possession of drugs and was a drug addict. "There are people you meet that you get to know, and then there are people you meet and know"
February 20, 2023 President's Day weekend babyyy! Almost done with the month of February. Where did the time go? Anyway, I am reading Confess by Colleen Hoover and it is super duper good. It is sad in the beginning but lightens up. Im on page 50 and it is getting good. Auburn meets a guy named Owen Mason Gentry and learns that he owns an art gallery and uses anonymous confessions to inspire his artwork. Updates to come
This is probably one of my top picks from Colleen Hoover. It was unexpected and unique. I loved the idea of the confessions mixed with art and the few twists she threw in this story to really keep you hooked until the last page. This one was a quick read with a sad story, but impossible to put down!
I decided to finally pick up a copy of one of Colleen Hoover‘s books last month at Target. Let me say that was one of the best decisions that I have made. Confess is such a beautiful story. I don‘t normally read romance novels unless the story falls under the dark romance genre. All over social media people were raving off Colleen Hoover‘s books. Now I see why. Owen and Auburn ‘s love is so sweet.
I‘m up to page 100. I really don‘t like Trey. #ColleenHoover

Selflessness. It should be the basis of every relationship. If a person truly cares about you, they'll get more pleasure from the way they make you feel, rather than the way you make them feel.

I‘ve heard so much about Colleen Hoover so , I decided to pick up one of her books. I am 50 pages in so far.
This was THE book.
It‘s been a while since I‘ve finished this book but I remember every detail from it.
I love Colleen Hoover and how she writes, she has a way of telling the stories in her book that for me is just perfect.
In this book I felt so much, like I was the one whose feelings were written in the book while I was telling the story. That‘s what I like the most about CoHo. They will always be part of me, in a way or another.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I feel bad for Auburn being caught in such a predicament and like the story, but this definitely has been my least favorite book of Colleen Hoover‘s.
This was a slow start. But it quickly changed and is a really good read!
Did I stay up way too late to read this book? Yes.
Do I have emotional damage again from said author? Also yes.
This book was fantastic. I couldn't put it down. Read within 3 hours. I highly recommend it.
I know I flew through this, and I liked it, but I am having trouble justifying why. I guess that makes Ms. Hoover a great storyteller.

I have 17:03:50. I wish I could have done more. 4 days of being sick put a small glitch in my plan. There is a chance I could get a little more time in before midnight, I will post my final time and recap tomorrow.
I seriously couldn‘t put this book down. Started and finished in one day, with such a fast pace and intriguing characters it was easy! I was rooting for these two the entire time, and of course it wouldn‘t be a CoHo book without a shocking twist at the end. 4.5/5⭐️
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Pretty good. Read it in a day because what else would I do in 90 degree weather besides sit in AC and read..... I started out outside.... did t last long. Climate change is real!!!!
Another hit from CoHo! I loved this endearing and heart wrenching story between two young loves that stretch out into young adulthood with some twists and turns.
Okay, in the end, Confess was just a meh. I didn‘t hate it, didn‘t fall in love with it, just meh. Not sure why, I didn‘t really connect with the main characters. I was so focused on how he knew her before that it was hard to focus on what was happening. Maybe it‘s me? 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Slowly working my way through Queen Colleen‘s books.. Decided to start Confess and the art work is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I love how Colleen makes reading her books a submersive experience, whether it‘s a playlist of songs or these beautiful works of art to go along with the story. She also incorporated her fans‘ REAL confessions and some of them have my jaw dropping, like are these really real?! 😱 I already have a feeling I‘m gonna love this one!
This is my 4th Colleen Hoover book and I am seriously thinking she can do no wrong. Already crying by page 10. Super creative the use of the book title throughout the book for different scenarios.
This was my favorite CoHo book so far! This was only the fifth I‘ve read of hers but I loved it. I‘m sure the more I read I will have a new favorite but right now this one wins! It had me from the very first page and I couldn‘t put it down!
Confess is one of my all time favourite books and I was rereading it these past few days and I anotated the hell out of it 😂 the writing in this one is phenomenal and the storyline is beyond wonderful. I highly recommend it if you didn't read it yet ♥️
1. Yes it's a must for me that the title and cover of a book appeal to me. If it doesn't have a pretty cover or a nice title, I won't pick it up to learn more about the story.
2. One of my favourite books is CONFESS by Colleen Hoover, and there is another book by her too called Hopeless. They are both phenomenal.
This author had me crying by page 10. Heavy read but so so good. These characters are so believable and the storyline was very compelling. This is an auto buy author for me.
Loved this book! ❤️
Started this book over breakfast. What a mistake! Colleen Hoover‘s books pull me right in and now I want to go back to bed and read all day! But I have stuff to do so I‘ll be an adult and get my act together. Pancakes were delish!
