I really enjoyed this book. Great story, great - and simple, in French translation - writing, great building of suspense. There's nothing flashy in this story, it's all very nice and quiet, but you know from the very beginning that something horrible will happen, and you just have to wait and see what it is.

This is currently very fitting for my mood.

Ahhh read+drink or knit+drink?? Decisions! If only my current audiobook weren't shit I'd probably knit, but since it is, Koike wins. (And that's gin, lime juice and agave syrup.) 🍸
