#bookhaul y'all! Had a bad afternoon yesterday, so I self-soothed w/ my county library.? Little did I know, it's #litsycarnaval! Going back tomorrow for the book sale to find books that need a good home, mine. ? Thanks to @MrBook for the rec on "Crown of Blood" since I just finished "My Lady Jane" for #fya & want to follow up historical fiction w/ a bit more history. Can everyone tell I just discovered stickers...?

I enjoyed this way more than I thought I would. I was expecting something in the vein of Fan Girl's Guide to the Galaxy, but it had much more in common with Ghost World. (Really, that just goes to show how little I knew about the creator - going into the book, all I knew was that he's the same age as me). #litsyreadingchallenge #authormyage

Cosplayers feels like a modern Ghost World at times but it adds a layer of subtext about comics/anime culture's generational shift, with two young female fans sharing a world with older men who revere their own opinions. #comics #anime
