This book was like Percy Jackson and Harry Potter put together, and it was overall really good. I have read the whole series and it is really good.

2/2: Axton‘s box of six books also came with treats (he wrote his name on the goldfish and said we are not allowed to touch them 😆), a fun Zeus game which I know we‘ll enjoy as we love a couple other games by the same company, stickers, colored pencils, Percy Jackson themed mad libs (never see those before) and Thor and Loki keychains. Loki is already on his backpack and Thor is on his bookshelf (because they will fight if they are together) 😆💙

MeganAnn @sprainedbrain many, many thanks to you and Jackson for such an awesome package! Axton loves everything 😍😘 6y

Jack will die unless he receives treatments from a mysterious group who spirit him away from the outside world. He and others like him have abilities that endanger their lives once they hit puberty. All of it seems to be tied to Atlantis. Add mythology, magic, and adventure and you have this new series that is guaranteed to last 6 more books since it's tied to the Seven Wonders of the ancient world.

Pretty good. Kids will like it.

The kid says that this book is cool and he recommends it for people who like adventure novels and kids with super powers. He said the characters were good and a lot happened. He also wants to finish the series. #raisingreaders.

TheLondonBookworm Sounds good to me! 7y
SaraBeagle What's the age level? 7y
TheNextBook @SaraBeagle I would say 8+. I'll let you know if it gets more intense with each book. The kid devoured this and really enjoyed it. But did have to ask me the meaning of a few words and look some up. Overall he really enjoyed it though! 7y

So, my kid's school host an author every year and a little over a year ago Peter Lerangis came to his school to give a talk! He gave an absolutely amazing presentation. The kids and staff really enjoyed having him come talk. The kid was able to get the first book in the series that dad, with it signed by Lerangis! He's starting it now! Hope he loves it! #raisingreaders

This book wasn't for me, I was pretty bored with it, there was nothing really wrong with it, I just didn't connect with it, pretty simple middle grade book. I chose it for Summer book bingo- Middle grade book

Just had dinner with international bestselling author, Peter Lerangis, who is one of the invited speakers for the Singapore Writers Festival. Great catching up with him with my 14 year old girl. I interviewed him back in 2013 at The Arts House when he was first launching his Seven Wonders series.
