…not as strong as the first book IMO, but it‘s tough being book 2 in a trilogy. There was more action, but some seemed random, as did the “science” which grew more far fetched.
We are set up plot-wise for an interesting finale.

Y‘all this book was So Good, and So Sad and I just love it so much. Fishy quickly became one of my favourite characters with Tansy, Dr Cale, and (of course) Beverly. While Sherman and Banks rapidly solidified their “oh I hate them” spots. If you‘re a fan of zombies, body horror, or parasites I highly recommend this trilogy (but do start with Parasite as that‘s the first book)

Just finished Parasite (it just what this bibliophile needed). Onto the rest of my lazy Sunday!!

Ok this boycott is really going to hurt because I can‘t buy Schwab‘s latest book because it‘s with Tor and now Grant has a YA Alien spinoff coming out with Macmillan next year. Ahhhhhh....I guess I‘d better get to letter writing.
