The hubby left early this AM for a week long hunting trip. This is the last one before we become a family of three so I'm going to fill my mom-only free time with reading!

A little "library haul" today. I decided to finally check out the tiny city library in the small town I just moved to. The library is literally one small room in the city building, but we have a library! Found these bestsellers on the shelves! (My previous "big city" library had constant waiting lists for both!)
pick4/5 This was the last of my Sookie Stackhouse re-reads before I finish the series. The final four books will all be brand new to me. I read this when it came out 7? years ago and man, did I not remember it at all. I can't wait to see where we go next in this little world.

Used bookstores are the best. Traded in a few old novels and got these two for only $1! I've never heard of either but both jumped out to me as great summer reads.
bailedJust not grabbing me right now. Stopping around 50 pages - Maybe will pick back up in the future.
pick4/5 🌟 Such a fun, fast crime novel. After attending university in St. Paul, I loved that this was set in the Twin Cities because so much of the setting was familiar to me.
pickNot the best in the series but it's a great addition. I just love the world and characters that KMM gives us...
