I love this book. I love Kaz Brekker. I love them all, actually.

Halfway through this. Loving it so far. Picking it back up right now.
I can officially say I love everything she‘s done. This one is full of religious and political intrigue.
So I‘m only 2 essays in. God I‘m so mad. But also determined. Hard reliving November 8. But feeling so validated in my devastation.
This book was so profound and infuriating. A scathing look at anti-blackness and policing and the prison system. So painfully beautifully written.
In honor of my upcoming 42nd birthday and the answer to life, the universe, and everything.
You know, if you like YA fantasy of this type it's not a bad read. Good enough I want to read the sequel. And pretty action packed.
It took me a bit to get used to the writing. But it's picked up. #24in48
Finally. Finally. Finally. #24in28
I finished this on my walk this morning. 1:12. I don't even know what to think. It's so much to digest. N. K. Jemisin can fucking write. What the what is gonna happen in Stone Sky. Can I get in a reread before August 15? #24in48
I read The Fifth Season a few months ago. But I wanted to wait until it got closer to the release date for The Stone Sky. I started Obelisk Gate this morning and I could have just kept walking for hours.
Oh my god my heart guys. I only break down in tears every couple chapters.
My friend said she had to read this as fantasy. It's not a stretch. I don't even understand this reality. Except the part where it briefly mentions Atherton. I know all about that.
One of my May reads. I love the writing and I'm so intrigued.
In case you don't understand that reference, AI's crossover breaks ankles, son.
I am unashamedly (that's a word) in love with ACOMAF. It's on my computer now for a daily reminder. - H.
All those post its are lines I intend to letter. I loved this. I saw Woodson speak a few years ago right before this came out and I love the way show spoke and told her story. I'd read more memoirs if they were written in verse. - Harmony
I like Neil Gaiman. I like dark fantasy. I like the way he disturbs me. Sometimes haunting. Always leaves me with something to think about. - Harmony
I have to admit I didn't really like Ari at first. But maybe I wasn't suppose to. Realistic fiction is not my favorite genre, but the story was beautifully written and honest. - Harmony
I'm still working my way through King's Cage. I have so many feelings about Maven.
