After setting it down for a few weeks (we got a puppy and she has been taking all of our time) I‘m glad to have time again to finish this book.

I think my hot chocolate has a story to tell. Or my barista is a bookworm. #booksonthebrain #litonmymind
I have been using the A Cup of Faith devotional journal and love it so I was ecstatic to find they have another one. I just picked up A Cup of Grace at Barnes and Noble. If anyone is looking for a devotional journal give these a try.
Happy Monday!

Wuthering Heights is the topic of discussion over at writerinthedesert.com/blog.
“Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”
Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë is a staple in today‘s world. The stormy tale that captured all the emotions of a human being all over the world. Because this story is so relatable, music, movie, plays and media in general add tidbits of the story or mention it. Have you read it?
Reading The Better Life is like sitting at the kitchen table getting advice from your older wiser sister while sipping a cup of tea. Claire Diaz-Ortiz uses her life experiences, the experiences of others, and references books and television to inspire and motivate. By the end of the book, you will feel like you have gained a friend.
“Even the strongest blizzards start with a single snowflake.”
It‘s a chilly day in AZ today. Great night to curl up with a book!
Doing a different kind of reading today. Turkey is in the crockpot for Christmas Dinner.
Merry Christmas, Littens! May everyone enjoy good food, and good company (whether that be family, friends, or a good book).
In The Christmas Shoes, Nathan prayed for a miracle that didn‘t come. In The Christmas Blessing, Nathan finds himself in need of another miracle when the woman he loves grows sick. He questions whether he is cut out to be a doctor. If you want to be the best, find someone to pace yourself against.
It gave me chills, shed a few tears, and overall finished with that warm feeling we often search for in a Christmas tale, faith.
Christmas is almost here. I still have so many Christmas-themed things I wanted to read and watch!
Did you read any great Christmas-themed books this season?
Last year I read The Christmas Shoes and instantly added the sequel, The Christmas Blessing, to my TBR list. Today I purchased it at my local library bookstore for $1. #bookhaul #christmas
Happy Thursday folks. It‘s National Hot Cocoa Day! Although I love hot cocoa, I prefer to drink tea or a glass of wine while I read (depending the time of day). Hot cocoa feels more like a movie drink to me. What do you like to drink while reading? #nationalhotcocoaday
My name is Brittany and I am new to Litsy. I devour stories, whether it be books or films but I write them as well. When I can't find someone to tell me the story I am looking to hear I set out to create it myself. Which brings me to the question, How many readers on litsy are also writers?
Could not put it down! The main character Annie worries that her whole life was a mistake. Our life story only makes sense when we look back on them and Mitch takes us on a well-written journey through Annie‘s eyes to do just that, make sense of her story. Each moment of our life is woven into an intricate pattern that intersects with those we meet. Mitch uses clever and creative prose to reveal the hidden strings in Annie‘s life.
