A remarkably smart and entertaining read with a surprising and satisfying finish. It felt a bit long in places, but, oh so worth it.

LOVED The Waking Fire, so I cannot WAIT to dig into this one.
Thrills and chills from the finest fantasists of the '50's and 60's.
From 1990..."The horror genre is now stronger and more popular than ever before." In retrospect, this was probably the absolute apex of the genre's popularity.
An excellent read! Historical/Adventure/Survival/Literary/Serial Killer fiction. A well-told tale with rock solid storytelling and literary value. Highly recommended.
I LOVED Six of Crows, so I can't wait to dig into this sequel... But first I have to finish Tad Williams's Otherland. Only about 1700 more pages to go! *sigh* So many good books....
A sea chest of wonders.
