I'm so glad my reading slump is over! I'm enjoying 'The Magicians', but not in love yet. I'm hopeful the plot will pick up soon.

What a wonderful end to this nail biting trilogy! If you haven't read the Red Rising trilogy yet you should. I enjoyed this more than Hunger Games which is saying a lot since I devoured that trilogy. The characters in Red Rising have much more depth and growth. Pierce Brown knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat and surprise you with twists. I really enjoyed being surprised. It doesn't happen often. 💕
Another one bites the dust! And another one gone. And another one gone. Another one bites the dust! 😂
Oh thank god he's not dead yet!!! Yay Seveo!! I knew there had to be a catch.
Seven chapters left! What's going to happen? This book has been a nail biter.
I made it!! Now NyQuil and sleep. 🎉Goodnight Littens!!
All I want to do is sleep, but I'm so close I'll just keep listening to Outlander. I can't seem to read anymore with this cold I have, but I can listen! Just have to stay awake!
I was surprised by Darrow's choice, but what a fantastic story. I'm excited to start the next book! I'm out. I'll pick up reading in the morning.
Still listening to Red Rising! It so good! This is my spine poetry. Fingerprints of the Gods as good as gone. A wrinkle in time and the show went on. The world becomes what we teach. #24in48 #spinepoetry
Listening to Red Rising while looking forward to reading these. #24in48
I now understand why this book left everyone with a hangover! I love how this cast of characters continue to grow and surprise. I cannot wait for the next book to be published. Now on to the next book. #24in48
I'm taking a break from reading tonight to work on a baby blanket, but I'm having a hard time putting this down! It's so fun, and I'm learning. Win!
These books are going to a present for any baby shower I have to go to from now on. So cute. Just look at Yoda!
This was another quick read, but it was surprisingly fantastic! I'm so glad I took a chance on this one. I feel like the reader will get something new out of it every time. I think a couple of the characters could've been developed a little more and maybe dug into the issues a little deeper. That might just be me trying to use books as therapy though. Overall it's a great pick!
So far so good. I can't wait to see how these different characters develop.
This was one of those books where it took me a minute to stop tapping the screen hoping for another page. It was a quick read and felt too short, but I absolutely enjoyed it. Everything about it was perfect. The illustrations by her husband were one of the best additions. They were such a nice surprise that enhanced the story, and really added to Maddy's character. Love. Just love.
Starting to reread this one. What a treat! I love the Barnes and Noble rebound classics!
I'm honestly surprised how much I enjoyed this story. This was a free eBook and the books from this vendor are usually a 50/50 chance of being awful. I can't wait to start the next one and continue the journey. It had touches of 'My Fair Lady', but it was well written and I was able to really identify and attach myself to the main characters. If you're looking for a fun read about an industrious lady in 1925 Ireland then, this one is for you!
I've been away for so long it's a little overwhelming! Anyway, this quote really hit home. When things get crazy I tend to forget about myself.
Goodness! I don't know where to start. I loved it. I wish it had been published earlier. I feel like everyone needs to read this book even though parts of it are painful to read because of all the racist comments. I've never read a book that more accurately described the southern mindset. I live around these people and deal with them everyday. I hope that one day they will open their minds.
I would love to be a part of Mary and Dickon's squad. Spend all day playing with animals in the garden. Yes please!! #bookishsquad #augustphotochallenge #augustofpages
I enjoyed this quick read, but I didn't love it. It was fun to spend time in that world again, and it was nice to have Ginny and Draco a little more developed as characters. I didn't love that they didn't treat McGonagall with as much respect as she deserved, and it was too easy to come and go from Hogwarts.
It finally came!!! I probably won't be sleeping tonight. 😍
I got my new library card today and picked up this beauty!! I've been waiting for too long to read this.
The main character is a snarky, ex-cia agent that gets thrown into a world of murder and mystery. I really enjoyed the characters, and I love a good book that keeps me laughing even when the plot gets serious. I'm looking forward to reading the second book about Max Bowman. It will have to wait until after the new Harry Potter.
Still not finished with 'Evensong'. It's an interesting concept, but I can't get into it. Here's my kindle tbr for July. #TBRTuesday I'm most excited about 'Dark Sky'.
Originally, I was going to use today as a break from reading, but then I found this on my kindle. It's the perfect palate cleanser. Short, sweet, and well written, but it makes you want to revisit the Harry Potter universe. (Which of course is never a bad thing.)

How can you not love this book! It's dramatic and keeps you on the edge of your seat, but it is also delightfully funny and full of human moments that keep you connected to a subject matter that few can personally relate to.
I seriously cannot believe I powered through 14 hours of reading today. If 'The Martian' hadn't been an audio book, I wouldn't have been able to do it. That extra twenty on the clock is to make up for when I forgot to turn of the stopwatch when I went grocery shopping. Anyway, this #readathon has been a blast! I've had so much fun interacting with the bookstagram and litsy communities!#24in48 I'll finish Evensong tomorrow. Goodnight!!
For the last 3.5 hours I need a butterbeer daiquiri to get me through it! So close!! #24in48 #readathon #themartian
An #honestbooktitle for this novel is 'Mars is trying to kill me, but I'm a Space Pirate' or it could just be titled 'Fuck'. @Litsy @24in48 #24in48 #readathon
Three and a half hours left of the Martian and 5.5 hours left of reading. I can do this...
Some how my copy of 'Sabriel' has been misplaced, but I love that series so much as you can tell from the poor spine pictured. I would love to have this series narrated by Emily Blunt. @Litsy #24in48 #readathon
This book is everything I always thought it would be! Besides the few racist bits about India, it was a delightful and enchanting story. Growing up I always wanted to live in the secret garden, and I can say that it is still true today. #24in48#readathon
Georgia has been an excellent reading companion, but she and Zulu say it's bedtime with their snores. Good night #24in48! 9 hours today. Hopefully, I can make it to 24 tomorrow since I won't have to work! #readathon
The first half of this title completely summarizes my life. Nothing every seems to go according to plan, but it always works out! #24in48 #readathon @24in48 @Litsy
Usually the free eBooks from book bub are not the greatest, but I fell in love with this cast of characters. It's a great little fantasy with only some familiar elements, but the books need better editing. Especially book three. Also, can I please have a whole book about Inga?
The work day is done! I have a giant cup of tea, and I'm ready to finish this book. Starting the clock again! #24in48 #readathon
Starting #24in48 with book three of the Courtlight Series! I started this series Monday, and I just can't seem to put it down. I love fantasy and can't get enough of the main character. #readathon
