I heard an interview with this author today and am intrigued...

I loved this book! I was immediately immersed in this world and was sad to leave it. It definitely had the elements of a great fairytale...magic, treachery, romance.
I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed this book. Starting out it seemed like it was going to be a bit predictable, but the plot quickly took a turn. It's such a great feeling getting sucked into a book so that when you put it down you're left in a fog, and this book definitely had that effect on me. A great adult fairytale...I'm looking forward to reading more from this author!

In this era of gift cards, I was pleasantly surprised with this gift! Hoping for a really fun read 😁

This book started out a bit slow for me but def got better. The author did a good job laying the foundation for the rest of the trilogy. The characters are likeable and imperfect. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

This book seemed very predictable when it started but it's taken some interesting turns.
