Was interested in reading “Appalachian noir” and wanted to support a NC writer, so picked it up on Amazon. The characterization was phenomenal but overall the message didn‘t do much for me.

Phenomenal read about relationships and emotional blockage that prevents true intimacy. Found it super helpful.
Some good nuggets of advice relating to personal growth but overall forgettable.
Very enticing true crime mystery with beautiful imagery of life in a southern resort town in the 1930s.
One of my absolute favorites. The imagery and emotion evoked is phenomenal. Love the characters and the plot (which revolves around poverty, illegal immigration, etc).
Interesting concepts presented about past life regression but not sure I‘m convinced. Interesting nonetheless.
