After a pretty long break from reading because of the lack of time, I finally started the second book of Outlander... Until now it is great :)
After a pretty long break from reading because of the lack of time, I finally started the second book of Outlander... Until now it is great :)
I have just finished the first book.. . I liked it a lot despite of its length... I loved the story, the romance, the characters and all the scientific details... It had all to be a wonderful novel... Great reading! I will take a break until starting the second book and I will watch the TV series to see if it is as good as the book!
I can't say that I liked it because I didn't... I don't know why... But it wasn't my type of book... The only things that I liked were the last words of famous people which were mentioned in the book, my favourite being “I go to seek a Great Perhaps” told by Rabelais.
Funny... Romantic... Interesting... Catchy... Tiffy and Leon are my new favourite fictional couple ❤️ It deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Well, it definitely wasn't my type of book... The book tells story of Waldo, a famous film director who is now old and very sick... He is trying to outsmart Eddie who comes into his life and seduces Zee, the much younger wife of Waldo. I can only give it one ⭐
I started it yesterday or the day before yesterday.. I forgot.. And I finished it today... I couldn't put it down until I finished it... It is a tragic story... A painfully tragic one... A story about a woman treated as a slave in a world where men have the only power and rule their lives as they want to... They use and hit them on a daily basis... And they... The women... Accept that without complaining or revolting because that's normal ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
“When the whole world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful.”
'Something in me is broken but people don't realize it because I always smile to hide it'.
Amazing.... I've finished it so quickly that I am sorry now because it didn't last more... Wonderfully written... Misterious and captivating... I couldn't put it down until the end... Which wasn't at all as I expected. It deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have received the book as a Christmas present last year, but I didn't have time to read it until now. It is not what I usually read... But I must say it was a pleasant reading, interesting and funny in the same time. It is the story of a remarkable smart woman who travels disguised as a monk across Europe and becomes Pope Joan VIII ruling over Christians for almost 2 years. ⭐⭐
I have just finished it... Even if at the beginning I wasn't very impressed, I started to like it after the first 100 pages. It is the story of Augustin, innocent or terrorist... It is a story about faith...religion...God...it makes you think and meditate... This was the second book that I've read written by this author, and I have to say that I really liked it and I found it interesting and inspiring. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I have just finished it and I must say I didn't like it so much. I didn't like Rebecca and I didn't like Amelia either.. Two different women who cross their path in this satirical novel of the English society in the 19th century... I read it because I had to and because I don't like leaving unfinished books. ⭐
I needed a break from Vanity Fair so I have just started this book on my kindle and it is pretty nice.
Loved the book and the TV series!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"Smile until you feel better. I call it Kimmying"
I have just finished watching Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.?? I liked it.. Kimmy always sees the good in everything! Have you seen it?
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I loved this book! Dita is an amazing girl who has a lot of strength and a huge love for books! A great book about survival and finding something good in everything even if you are an Auschwitz prisoner! ❤️
I can't wait to buy and then start reading this book.. I have read the first volume and I loved it and then I started watching the TV series 😊
I loved the book Gone with the wind! It was one of my favourites! I have also seen the movie which I really liked. But Scarlett is my favourite...I don't know why but I really liked her more in this book...
Parenting is not easy... Thank God there are so many books about it and that we have our instincts that apparently start functioning when a baby appears in our lives.. It is an amazing book not only for parents but also for teachers... We all know that boys are different from girls... And the book has so many tips and tricks about how can we have a better understanding of their feelings and attitudes. You just have to read it to see!
"What really matters is what you believe"
I love all books from Dan Brown...and I really enjoyed reading this book. It is one of my favourite.
I have read the book because I needed it for my literature exam but I didn't like it. It wasn't my type at all and I must confess I am not a big fan of Virginia Woolf. I think the only thing I liked it was the love story between Orlando and the Russian girl :)
“I wanted to say a lot of things, but, as usual, I didn't have the words for the thoughts inside my head.”
Amazing book. I've read it in a couple of days... I couldn't let it down until I finished it. Complex characters and a great story.
It was one of the funniest books about parenting that I have ever read. I enjoyed it so much! The ups and downs of being a parent!
