I am loving this book so far!

"Is made visible articulation of scepticism through the use of the muscles of his face"
This made me giggle, such a great description! Also enjoying reading a book with no cover -absolutely no preconceptions.
It's #childrensbookweek and what better way to start than with one of my favourites? Ballet Shoes is the inspiring story of the Fossil sisters who overcome challenges to achieve their dreams and are super feisty along the way! Petrova also won me some books earlier in the year. Lots of love for this book & especially this gorgeous Folio Society edition.
Just found this while sorting my office space and stuck it up right in the middle to remind me why this business is so exciting! The book tagged is obviously not the one the quote comes from but it is excellent & worth reading!
Not officially doing #readathon but I finished Bret Easton Ellis and Other Dogs this morning. The story of a girl learning about a writer who lived in her building from the stories of other people and finding out what life is all about.
One of my favourite books of all time, about a writer struggling with her relationships, the Beast of Dartmoor and the end of the world, with some sock knitting thrown in for good measure! So weird yet so entirely wonderful.
