This is such a great kid's book to add to their collection. My eight year old loves animal facts, and it makes for a beautiful little book on their book shelf.
I fell in love with this author through the inheritance cycle so I knew I wanted to check this book out. I would say this is a lot denser than what I had expected. Definitely a SCI FI with interesting concepts, where the inheritance cycle was fantasy. There is a lot going on, so I've put the book down and picked it back up more times than I care to admit. I've only breached the beginning though and I am determined to read it's entirety.
Not terrible. I wish there was a little bit more depth with the characters, more emphasis on personalities. The concept and usage of poetry was nice though. Definitely spicy, but repetitive.
My love for Horror started with R.L. Stine's Goosebumps and Fear Street. ❤
One of my all time favorite Horrors. I read this while working 3rd shift.. alone.. many years ago. Save to say it definitely scared the crap out of me. I look forward to reading more by this author in the future.
This book was recommended on BookTok. It was pure smut. I wish there had been a little bit more of a story line, it became a little bit repetitive but I cannot complain because I read every single page. Kenzo ended up being my favorite of the Viper boys.
If I had to compare this book to a person, I would call it an ex boyfriend, you know what you are getting into, and it's enjoyable enough, but it's still lacking something.
One of my most favorite childhood series was the inheritance cycle. How could you not love fantasy when you are submerged in a world like this?
