Never thought I'd need a new Michael Chabon book so badly.

I wanted Bruce Springsteen's memoir to be like a Bryce Springsteen song and I was not disappointed.

Started the week drinking bourbon and reading this. Finished it up with some Scotch. Scott is a hell of a short story writer.

Basically missing shots of vodka.

Funny how much of this show I've watched and how little I really THOUGHT about it. I love My So-Called Life, but Roberts puts it in a whole new light.

I read this throughout the summer almost every year. I'm not a fan of saying something is my favorite book, but this probably would be in the running if I did.

Never thought I'd miss being young, broke and trying to make something happen, but damn does Chloe Caldwell make it all seem romantic and great. What a great collection of essays!

And now I have another edition of this.

Finishing Megan Abbott's book first, but I'm bumping this up to the next book I read after reading his piece on female ghostbusters.
