This book was so much fun! I‘ve been “in the middle” of reading it all year, and I finally broke through my book slump to do it. The characters are some of my favorites from stories I‘ve read in the past few years and the ending was so completely satisfying!

Took me two days and four stores, but I finally got my hands on a copy! Can‘t wait to read this book!!!

This book was honestly fantastic. It‘s a very short read, but what it does in that time is so much fun, and the characters make everything worthwhile. It especially doesn‘t hurt to see Ace rep in the main character, I hope the books I‘m planning on reading next year do it half as well as this one!

This graphic novel means more than I can say. I‘ve only started to come to terms with being nonbinary within the last year, and it amazes me how relatable Maia‘s experiences were. E has a remarkable way of weaving in and out of different points in eir life to make everything cohesive, and the art itself is amazing. This memoir is perfect for anyone, whether you‘re looking for yourself in a book, or trying to learn more about a foreign identity.

The book itself was less than amazing, but it was good for what it was. I'm a fan of any and all Beauty and the Beast stories (and any hades and Persephone that falls under the umbrella) and it was light and fluffy and a quick read. Perfect for breaking out of a reading slump which is where I found myself almost all of this year. The plot was predictable, and the ending lack luster, but definitely still fun.
