It started strong but by half way through I felt the book had lost any plot other than the relationship. It was nice reading a character on the asexual scale like my self, but it felt more like a lesson in it then a story. It could have been really great an interesting if the plot had been more thought out. Maybe I'd have liked it more if I wasn't tired of relationships right now. #readthemargin

Victoria is a young ballerina who's recently lost her dad to a tragic accident, that also put her brother in a coma. She meets Ashlinn in her dreams, who brings her messages from her brother. Victoria falls in love, and Ashlinn helps her navigate her sexuality. So great to see a novel openly discussing asexuality as the sexual orientation of its protags. The writing is dreamy and undramatic. Light, fast read. Gorgeous cover. #DiversityDecBingo

Staying on my reading schedule and finished another from my #DecemberTBR.

This was a cute YA, fanatasy, romance. F/F. Two asexual protagonists.

The plot was a little outrageous to me, but it was well-written. I learned a shit ton about asexuality. I think it was good rep, but I need to verify that with a trusted ace person. I enjoyed it.

Took me a day to settle on a book to read. Today is another rush to finish a book on schedule day.

I loved The book Afterworlds by Scott Westerfeld and this book has similar themes. I am absolutely loving the dream world, the sleep magic, and the beautiful prose. The f/f romance is good too. I like the asexual 101 feel as well because I am not educated on that sexuality. I'm only 35% through.

Look at this beautiful cover. The author reached out to me asking if I could review her book. All she had to say was that this is a story with an Asexual character. Her writing is engaging and I'm really enjoying the story and the representation/ information I've learned so far. Plus that cover 👌
