An amazing, thrilling adventure! This gas lamp fantasy book is technically a stand-alone within the Gwen St. James series, and is 100% my favorite of the entire series so far! Enemies to lovers, touch her and die, fey, and a little bit of that super hot pepper, if you catch my drift. Definitely a full 5 star from me!

A Brilliant Story that left me gasping, chewing my nails, and giggling like a school girl after a text from their crush! i loved the unique setting, the brilliant characters, and how relatable the two main characters were! it starts off a little slower, almost cozy, and quickly snowballs into the high paced action of trying to survive at the end of the world. a brilliant new take on an old genre!

A thrilling, fantastic, amazing continuation from the first book, with an even higher stakes case to be solved with an enemy smarter than even the illustrious Ana. the dangers are intense, the suspects are ever growing, and the body count is getting higher. I am already desperate for the next book, and this will absolutely be on my re-reads list!

what is the difference between a Promise, and Fate? one you choose, the other is thrust upon you, but both can ruin everything. Does a promise still count if you cannot remember it? the Gods of Fate, Destiny and Promise are all going to ensure they get their dues, and if it breaks the world in the process so be it. follow two very lucky, and very unlucky boys, as they do everything they can to duck fate, keep their promises, and stay together.

This is a morbidly hilarious take on an afterlife that's understaffed, overbooked, and completely unprepared for the Newly Dead Life Coach who is not only not taking 'please stay on the line' standing down, but is about to uncover a horribly mystery that could end the afterlife, and life alike. this book had me roaring with laughter, as well as chewing my fingernails as i kept turning the pages, unable to put it down!

A Hilarious tongue in cheek adventure filled with slow burn romances, overcoming trauma, remembering who you are, deciding who you want to be and a lot of hilarious satire on the more common tropes in fantasy. a cozy adjacent adventure, where four heroes must learn how to be heroes all over again, all the while trying to avoid the simmering resentment due to their shared pasts.
