As always I did not see the ending coming to this Riley Sager novel. The story of Jules and her new job as an apartment sitter in on of Manhattans most prestigious buildings. A unique and interesting story line that will leave you guessing until the end.

I have such a soft spot in my heart for someone who is willing to go above and beyond for a child in need. Ursa is in search of finding five miracles and along the way they all start to find the truth about one another. This story knew how to pull at the heart strings and I could feel the pain of the secrets Jo, Ursa, and Gabe were all carrying around.

I used audible for this book and the number of times they said Ursa said was unnerving.

This was a good read with very captivating content and lots of unseen twists and turns. I could feel the personal struggle that Hen was grappling with the whole story. How it feels when you are telling the truth and no one believes you.

Liked when they were children the most. The middle felt too drawn out and predictable.

This is not your typical Colleen Hoover read, I repeat this is not your typical @colleenhoover book. I was constantly wanting more information about Verity‘s life and what made her into the person she became. Lots of twists and unexpected turns along the way. A suspenseful read for sure and once if picks up you won‘t put it down. I read 50% of the book in one night.

A quick read that did an excellent job of capturing the pressures of wanting to be perfect and trying to balance it all. It was thought provoking especially as a teacher when you see the students who already struggle with not being perfect. “They make us think the grade is more important than the learning, and that‘s messed up.”

Enjoyed the witt but didn‘t realize that it was an older story when I choose it. Hopefully she will write an update soon!
