I would be chilly if I were alive, instead I'm freezing because I'm dead.

Heck yeah for representation! True love that just happens to be platonic? I'm here for thatt
Apparently science=the natural enemy of both art and religion. Say what?
Yet more diversity! Physical and mental disability with a comment on ableism
I absolutely love this world. A lesbian movie star struggling with being told to keep her long term girlfriend a secret. A stable triad marriage. Zombie kangaroos and wombats. It doesn't get much better.
Required reading for my (required) theology class. The two chapters I've had to read so far are interesting
I enjoyed quite a few of the stories in this anthology but more than half fell flat for one reason or another. I had a few issues with stories that lacked explicit, enthusiastic consent. Others just felt rushed which is understandable since they were so short.
A Belle who is angry the beast she fell in love with is no more is my kind of Belle.
Things I love about this author: real life apocalypse concerns. Like how do you find bras when everything has gone to hell!
The zombie apocalypse in Australia. Doesn't get better than this.
It's been a long time since a book kept me up past midnight... But the past two nights I did. It was a relief to dive back into this world
Important question: how did the clone get the memories of the original body?
I love listening to Shaun go crazy. I'm glad Georgia is still around.
This series managed to captivate me. Good narrators for the audiobook are icing on the cake. Over halfway through and all I can say right now is fuck the CDC. I cried when Georgia died in the first book and it kill me to learn that her retinal KA means she had a chance of recovering. The switch in female narrators from the first book threw me for the first few chapters but that can't be helped.
Found this series (all 5 books!) at a thrift store today. Just the excuse I needed to reread it. I absolutely love this book. The protagonist is just plucky enough and the setting and supernatural elements are wonderfully executed.
Thrilled to finally have my own copy of this book. Working through the introduction and I've already had to look up three words.
On read through 2.5 I finally got the opportunity to experience this book the way I wanted to the first time around. A lovely book read by a lovely narrator. I'd recommend trying the audiobooks if you want to get into the series but haven been able to.
Read through number 2.5 and still loving it. This reader is amazing. These audiobooks are perfect for knitting. I think I'm going to need to purchase my own copies so I don't have to keep checking them out from the library.
This book was recommended to me to read while taking a holistic health course. There are a number of things wrong with the book. A plethora of vanity citations, and the logical fallacy Appeal to Authority are the two that come immediately to mind. This book pissed me off to the point of bailing.
See that? That's called a vanity citation.
Really? You're telling me that people who are discriminated against have higher self-acceptance?
Apparently I'm posting lots of quotes from this book. . . This scene hit me hard. I know exactly how Adam felt in this moment.
Me too Blue. Driving is terrifying.
Super skeptical about this book. Part of me wishes I owned a copy of it so I could highlight and annotate it but I also don't want to spend money on it just yet.
