Blunt, beautiful, triumphant, quiet. Rakshasa and werewolf, human and beast, woman and man. Blurred lines between them all. A marvelous read that will likely stick with me for some time.

This book is marvelous. It has a magical realism feel without actually being magical realism. Dark, human, mesmerizing.
An interesting premise, but the main character didn't sit well with me. This made it a hard book to love. Not really itching to read more Mosley.
Not a perfect novel, but good enough to recommend. The world craft is compelling, and Lilah is cool. Kel whines more than is seemly. I'll read the next one.
Not my favorite Dickens novel. Not as funny as others of his, and felt more heavy handed. I couldn't really care much for the characters.
