Disclosure: this was written by my friend's husband. This was a fun, quick sci-fi book. Nothing earth-shattering but I enjoyed it and will read the rest of the trilogy.

sfgiantsjo Just finished it, and I agree! I'll definitely finish the series. Enjoyed it! 8y

Had a rough week and needed some literary comfort food. I love this sweet teen romance. Boarding school! In Paris! What's not to love? ❤️

... (It's like JB had just learned about ellipses. I think she's trying to use them stylistically to indicate pauses, but it sure is grating. They are everywhere, even in the title)

It's Judy Blume month for book club! Everyone remembers Deenie, Are You There God, It's Me Margaret, and Forever, but this was one of my favorites growing up. I was happy to revisit it and it was amazing how many small details I remembered.

The problem with starting an unfinished series is remembering what happened in previous books. I appreciate the summary of the story so far at the beginning of Morning Star because it's been a year since I read the last one.

Airykah13 That's how I am with Game of Thrones. I've already forgotten much of the story. Hopefully the new book comes out soon b 9y

This one is slow going because it's hard to read a heavy hardback and snuggle a new baby. Note to self: check out more paperbacks.

It's 80 in Alabama and snowing in Bishop's Lacey. Does anyone else read cold books when it's hot out and warm books in the winter or is that only me?

GardenJess Sometimes. Totally depends on my mood really. Though it's getting cold in North Cackalacky this weekend spit would have been well matched here. 9y

Fun read that plus with fairy tale tropes. Recommended for fans of quirky characters who like funny graphic novels.
