So I went to Europe and returned...3 weeks ago 😂 guess I needed a longer break from everything. But, I‘m back 💛 Excited to read through this gem again!

I typically only read 1 book a month unless it‘s a series and I read 5! I know that‘s nowhere near as many as most of you but I am super proud of myself 😂 hoping to read 6 for the month of February, maybe more - but 6 is a good start.
The plot centers around the murder of 17-year-old Janie Crowley. The synopsis focuses on Cecilia and her discovery of a letter her husband wrote to her 12 years ago. But there‘s more! Rachel, Janie‘s mother, lives alone in the town where her daughter was murdered. She must interact with adults who are old schoolmates of Janie‘s - which can be trying and difficult. And Tess - who has just found that her husband and cousin are now in love. Whoa.
Loved this quote while reading The Husband‘s Secret. Perhaps there were no answers to questions like that. Perhaps nothing was ever “meant to be.” There was just life, and right now, and doing your best. ❤️
Lilac Girls, is a compelling story that is based on the insight of three women and how their lives are irrevocably changed during Hitler's reign in power. The disregard for human life is heartbreaking and challenging to read at times. Their lives are impacted by the choices they make and the trauma endured snuffs out hope and happiness. It‘s truly earth shattering. Lilac Girls is expressive and well written. Grab a copy! It‘s well worth it!
Great book 📚 snuggles from my kitty 🐱 and coffee ☕️ life doesn't get any better than this.
I have loved Jane Green since I was in High School. I had stumbled upon bookends at the library and went searching for more of Green's work. I enjoyed the overall plot of this book, but had I not dedicated almost an entire day to reading and finishing it - I fear I would have bailed. 😔 Saving Grace is a s.l.ow. read. An interesting read -however - about motherhood, mental health, and betrayal masked by an eagerness to please.
There's truly nothing like it ❤️ we are being told it's supposed to snow tomorrow 😍❄️ I really hope it does! Then I'll have the entire day to read - no interruptions 📚😘

"It's also why I love reading so much-the only place I felt safe was buried in the pages of a book, preferably one with a happy family" - Beth, Saving Grace What do you find you're searching for in what you read?
I really liked this book but felt there were parts that were lacking. It was definitely suspenseful and kept me on my toes. I just wish the book were either longer or was made into a duology! Read my full review: www.bookboundclub.com
❤️ I could reread a thousand times and gain something meaningful every time. http://imgfave.com/view/2691847
Top 5 Picks | Winter Reads - I know it's a little late into the season but there's still time for recommendations! Picture it: You - your favorite reading spot - a warm drink - a cozy blanket | Oh! What's that? It's snowing outside? Time to snuggle up and dive in! www.bookboundclub.com
I adore this book and when enough time has passed, will reread again. Pillars of the Earth is a story set in the 12th century around the creation and destruction of a beautiful and magnificent cathedral. There comes a point in the story where you become fully devote, tearing through the pages to learn what will happen next. The twists are gasp worthy. You will be submerged into the drama that unfolds within the religious & political meddling.
A beautifully written and compelling story, that uncovers the horrific scenes of the Wilhelm Gustloff. Sepetys story encompasses the struggle of traveling during World War II, loss and the inner turmoil of harbored secrets. The imagery is expressive and elicits fear, happiness, and sadness. Wading through conflict and holding your breath, the resolution unfolds. I cannot recommend this book enough
