A refreshing short book that focuses on 4 important agreements in order not to be to hard on yourself and attract positivity. A must read if you feel overwhelmed and need a book to help you focus on what‘s really important in life.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5⭐️ read
A book full of gems on how to increase your income weither you‘re working a 9@5 or self-employed. The author takes into consideration discrimination and systemic racism.
March-April non-fiction
Both books are 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but I related more to one as a woman of color. I might both re-read them eventually and take notes there were a lot of gems.
March-April fiction
Didn‘t finish any fiction book in march 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️.
A great read! Even thought I consider myself as having great habits, I learned a lot of great information and advices on adopting new habits.
The story was beautifully written. I don‘t read book résumés therefore I was pretty surprised by the storyline. The story of two black lightskin twins, one decides to live as a white woman and another as a black woman. Different lives, different struggles and different journey. A mix of colorism, gender and sex identity and racism.
Wow what a great read. She did a great job making a link between the Bible and real life experiences. Great book to read if you‘re feeling down and need something inspiring to read. I will probably re-read this book eventually. She totally opposite than her popular character of Insecure.
Jan-Feb 😏non-fiction.
It wasn‘t hard to choose, she deserves that Grammy award🥹.
EGOT
I really liked this book. Sometimes as humans we have this easiness to judge others without knowing what they are going through. I‘m including myself. This book opened my eyes about the life and the struggles of others.
#rape #eatingdisorder #fatphobia
Okay story but it was too slow paced. I need a good romance book 😒
I didn‘t like it. Some parts were funny (the cat part). Overall it‘s not my type of humor
I should‘ve read this book in my 20‘s I would‘ve learn so many things about life, priorities, patience towards myself and self care. Now that I‘m in my 30‘s this book is a useful reminder of my worth. It was a pleasant short read.
You have to be a powerful woman to be able to share everything about your life the way Viola did: the good, the bad, the sad and the happiest moment.
First read of the year. Sometimes we tend to be ungrateful for all the beautiful things present in our life. The book shows us how the feeling of regret can be harmful and devastating and the importance of moving on.
Wow! What a book. So rich of information and systemic racism. A real eye-opener! Loved it!
Interesting story, pretty fast pace. A woman, a mother, a wife who runs away every time she feels like it.
The story started great, plot twist through the story. I feel like the end let me down. The story had too much potential for this type of ending.
⭐️⭐️⭐️I listened to the audiobook, the author was speaking too fast. I did enjoy some parts of the book but I wouldn‘t suggest it, maybe if I knew the comedian I would have enjoyed the book.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I didn‘t know this actress but the title shocked me. As I listened to the book I could understand. Her childhood was horrible. A great read.
With the different debates and decision concerning women‘s body/rights to abortion. This book gives us a glimpse of the futur. I‘m still trying to finish the tv series.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ racism and discrimination awareness book explained and shared by a non-black person. I felt like a fly on a wall
Listened to the audiobook ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I loved it even thought some part were sad. Billy porter is a great narator. 12 hours well spent.
⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 this book had the potential of being really good but the end was deceiving.
Was okay, don‘t understand the hype. I didn‘t read the complete serie yet.
Ouf! What a story, took me a while to finish, it was hard to read. Thank you Anthony for sharing your life with us readers. How could an innocent man lose all his life in prison and the only crime he committed was being black. One of my best read of 2022.
Couple of short stories that obliged me to think about life
It might be my best read of this year
First book of the year, I give it 5 stars. An emotional, dark sad book based on a true story. A must read!
So what do you plan on doing during the holidays?? Me: reading 😉 and plan my reading list for 2022.
Finishing the Micclain brothers series. A series of different black love story. Not too much drama but a little too unrealistic. Real love isn‘t always that easy to obtain and go through.
First day off starts with a book #holidayseason.
I hope it won‘t be the coldest winter ever hahaha get it ? 🤦🏾♀️
I‘m grateful to have found a new Instagram author to follow. I appreciated the deep meanings behind his way of seeing life :)
#Shisha and book #vibes. Perfect #mood perfect #vibe. Have a great Saturday night. #saturdaynight #perfectpeace #bookworm
