While “The Favorite Sister” gives a view into the making and faking in reality tv, this book really explores the roles of women in society: how successful women are treated, ageism, racism, feminism, etc. Everyone lies, and there‘s no clear villain or hero. It‘s marketed as a fun mystery book, but it‘s actually pretty deep by the end of it.
Gabrielle Union is surprisingly funny without being annoying. It‘s quite entertaining.
