February House | Sherill Tippins

Thanks for posting @Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick

1.) February House: The Story of W.H. Auden, Carson McCullers, Jane and Paul Bowles, Benjamin Britten, and Gypsy Rose Lee, Under One Roof in Wartime America -- It has been 15+ years since I first read this, and it is still one of my favorites & most recommended. So. Much. Fun!

2.) Memoir and I would say Augusten Burroughs

3.) bell hooks

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I'll have to check some of these out! Thanks! 4y

Another great (audio)book recommendation from a Tim Ferriss interview... listened to the audio sample last night and starting today. (Nearly impossible for me to have only one book going at a time, as I imagine is true for many of us. 😉)

Really glad I finally started listening to this on audiobook. I see why the person who suggested it in Tim Ferris's _Tools of Titans_ (Seth Godin, I think?) said he listens to her work over & over.

A very merry unbirthday to you, @Lizpixie 🥳

Thanks for doing this giveaway!

Here is my list:

90s - Gender Outlaw: On Men, Women, & the Rest of Us by Kate Bornstein

Wasn't tagged, but just wanted to participate in #WondrousWednesday.

1. I think I would really love to hear Joyce Carol Oates speak & read in person. If money were no object, I'd travel however far, why not? Would always be great to see someone at the ICA in London, though. ;-)

2. I have never called out of work, but while self-employed, have def revamped schedule.

3. Kyoto & Prague: tranquility & culture.
