This was a fast and thrilling read. Once you‘ve begun, you get swept away in the mystery and magic of this story. We start out with an introduction to the School of Wayward Children, then move on to be introduced to the main character, Nancy. As we begin to adjust to this world along with her, we are thrown into a whirlwind as classmates begin to be murdered. Note to the more sensitive folk: this book uses the F word twice and milder swear words.

This book did a really good job at showing a young girl dealing with bullying. I love how she turned to the book Jane Eyre to cope. The ending was great. I definitely recommend this.

Visited a library branch other than my own yesterday and picked up this beautiful little book. It was such a quick read, I finished it in the same day. This was the first Rainbow Rowell book I‘ve read and I must say.. I wasn‘t disappointed. Her writing style was so easy to read. I was sucked right into the stories despite them being so short. They were both very satisfying bite sized stories.

Read this yesterday and it was pretty fantastic. It covered some difficult topics, but I think it did a pretty good job.

Started a new book while on lunch break. I am doing the #mermay art challenge over on Instagram so I figured I‘d bring the mermaids over here too by reading a mermaid book. 📖

Such a good book. Super encouraging for all the creatives out there. He talks about doubts and fears during the creative process, but he also gives advice and encouragement in overcoming those. He helps you realize that you are not alone in how you unqualified you feel. Even the greats don‘t always feel as though they‘ve “made it.”

This book is really good so far. I‘m listening to the audio book and I‘m on chapter 7. Mr. Rogers was just the sweetest bean ever. 💜
