Speak | Laurie Halse Anderson

I almost forgot about the #wednesdaywordchallenge! I haven‘t accepted that today is Wednesday. I‘m still stuck on Tuesday. Even though my husband is working from home most of the time, he did have off on Monday so the holiday is throwing me off. Anyone else struggling with that?

Today‘s word is #speak. Anderson‘s book was a given but the others fit the theme, too. Let‘s see what you come up with! Don‘t forget to tag me if you do this challenge!

MY DARK VANESSA. | KATE ELIZABETH. RUSSELL

I am doing a #wednesdaywordchallenge and I hope you‘ll join in! Please make sure you tag me, if you post a picture for the challenge. Today‘s word is #tragic. I have many books on my shelf with tragic storylines but I feel the four pictured most significantly affected my emotions. I will never forget the way they made feel. What tragic stories have really stuck with you?

cjbooklover All the Bright Places was definitely tragic. I think that is the hardest I have ever cried over a book. 5y
abookishbutterfly @cjbooklover I actually feel the exact same way. My head hurt from crying so much. 5y
Megabooks Great choices!! 5y
FromMyLectory For me, it was 'My Dark Vanessa'.. I had to take breaks to calm down.. 5y
abookishbutterfly @FromMyLectory I understand. It took me awhile to get through it and I had to talk to some friends about how it was making me feel while I read it. 5y

I‘m starting a #wednesdaywordchallenge. I will use a word from a list provided to me by friends and I will try to find books to fit the word theme every Wednesday.

One friend suggested “light” so I looked for books that either have the word light in the title or somehow communicate the idea of giving off light. You are welcome to join me in this challenge! I‘ll post a new word every Wednesday! Please tag me if you choose to play along!

Libby1 His, @Butterflyamore ! I‘m about to go to bed as my Wednesday is nearly over but I hope to join you in the challenge next Wednesday. 5y
abookishbutterfly @Libby1 I will try to remember to send you the word on Tuesday so you can be prepared in case I post too late in the day for you on Wednesday. 5y
