I can not stop with this series! Love it! Love the atmospheric Canadiana 🇨🇦 back drop, the individual mysteries, the overarching story lines coming out, and even love all those #unlikeablecharacters (I think I‘m becoming a sucker for those unlikeables!)
Yes, there are a few questionable/cringy descriptions but over all I‘m just loving the series.
Now I feel like I can finally dive into the show on Amazon video 😊

This was a good book. It was well written. It's an important book. However, the main character got on my nerves. I'm afraid that if I say more, I'll spoil it. #litsyatoz #unlikeablecharacters

Love it or hate it, people have a lot to say about this one. I love it, even if Eva is so very hard to like. She's a privileged, white woman whose world travels make her feel superior, who feels her pregnancy as an affliction, and, worst of all, doesn't love her own child. Despite this, I often felt sympathy towards Eva because her penance is so disproportionate to whatever her failings as a parent were. #aprilbookshowers #unlikeablecharacters

My pick for #aprilbookshowers #unlikeablecharacters was an easy choice for me. I despise Emma. I had loved Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, so Emma was a bit of a letdown.

I'm deeply suspicious of Rob, the narrator of In the Woods, and he does an awful lot to make himself one of several #unlikeablecharacters. But I still adore this book! I have a soft spot for characters I love to hate. #aprilbookshowers @RealLifeReading
