This was such a weird book, and took a long time for me to finish. I knew that it was based on actual events, but the whole freak-show quality of the narrative was uncomfortable for me. Bringing in an actual freak show at one point didn‘t help. It was really a very sad story, when considered from Mary Toft‘s point of view. I would have liked to have heard more in her voice. I listened to the audiobook, and thought it was well done. #ToB #ToB2020

Optic Nerve | Maria Gainza

Taking some #audiobook eye-resting time after six hours on Zoom today... Even with f.lux, looking at a computer screen for so many hours strains my eyes and gives me a headache. 😵 Thankful for the ability to just close my eyes and be read to 💕 I don't know anything about this book, but that it was in the #TOB2020, so I'm hoping it's good! 🤞

Thanks to the zombie votes we have to great books back in the tournament. Today it‘s Normal People‘s return, on Monday Lost Children Archive. I like both of them better than the two who made it to the zombie round on their own and have high hopes things turn out well in the end 🤞🏽🎈

Saudade has been the underdog making it to the Semifinals. This little gem has won from The Testaments and Fleishman is in Trouble. Today it is up against Lost Children Archive. I think it‘s about time Saudade steps aside for my personal favorite today 😀

All This Could Be Yours | Jami Attenberg

My last #TOB2020 Read is the mentioned book! When I am done I will have read 9 out of the 18 books on the list! It was fun and enjoyable to participate in this way.

I am a little sad that I didn't see a mystery listed or a thriller (do the three dystopian novels count?)

I am also currently reading The Invited by Jennifer McMachon it's excllent so far, and I am enjoy hiring down notes for the #LMPBC
