🦇 saga continues! It was still in the house. This time I witnessed the hubby catch it in a fishing net and release it outside.
I lost about 20 mins of reading time. All I want is to read my book!#timetomove

MicrobeMom @DGRachel OMG! It is horrible. I am so scared of 🦇. We do not have 🦎 in PA but I would prefer that to a 🦇!!! 7y

parttimedomestic Im sure you are taking care of your bat problem humanely, but if you need info or a local wildlife rescue, Bat World is a great resource! http://batworld.org/local-rescue/ 7y
Scurvygirl Before I had my house reroofed, I got them a lot. It can be unnerving. Also found the plug in sonar frequency things actually work as well. 7y
MicrobeMom @wife haha! Yes I love the count too! 7y
MicrobeMom @parttimedomestic thank you for the information. Yes we released outside. It flew away. But I will check out the website in case it happens again. 7y
MicrobeMom @Scurvygirl thanks! Our roof is relatively new. So I hope it is not that. I will check into the sonar thing! 7y
knittedgnome Yikes!!! 7y
GlassAsDiamonds I feel a tad stupid saying this to a microbiologist but the stupid Labrador run in and all those stupid injections left deep scars!!! Is he wearing welding gloves and all that (bats being rabies vectors etc.) and have the humans and pets had all their rabies shots/ vaccinations? 7y
MicrobeMom @GlassAsDiamonds thank you for you concern! No animals, children or adults actually touched the bat. Plus all animals have their rabies shots. It just flew around, hubby caught it in a net and release it outside. Rabies is way scary. Also only about 1% of bats are carriers of rabies. So very unlikely. (edited) 7y
GlassAsDiamonds @MicrobeMom 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 😊😊😊 I‘m an Aussie displaced to a high risk rabies country so it freaks me right out (and now my brain is a catalogue of potential vector species which is both helpful and NOT....). Glad you guys are all protected & keeping the wildlife safe as well. 😊😊😊 7y
