I constantly want someone to #TakeMeToTheBookstore even though I am fast running out of places I can put more books! Ellen Daunt Bookstore on Marylebone High Street - not too far from Oxford Street, has a particular focus on travel, and is one of the prettiest bookstores you‘ll see 7y

Mitch Oh my - we‘ve so many good ones! If you‘re here on Feb 9 the weekend is full of organised Bookshop Crawls! If you like big stores then Waterstones in Piccadilly ( Europe‘s largest bookstore) is a must. Foyles is just around the corner on Charing Cross Road - it‘s an institution! Stanford‘s specialises in travel & maps and is only 5 mins from Foyles, as is Forbidden Planet if you like sci-fi and fantasy. All are 15 mins walk from Oxford Circus tube 7y

Itchyfeetreader Personally I would recommend going to Daunt books in Marylebone. 15 minute walk from Oxford Circus rube. Beautiful building and books arranged by country ! There has also been a real growth in independent shops if you head a little further out into more residential areas - I have 2 within a ten minute walk of my house!! https://www.dauntbooks.co.uk 7y

The only bookstore is Barnes and Noble a few towns over. I do wish my town had a small local bookstore. If i ever hit the lotto that's what I'd like to do open my own bookstore.
We are lucky enough to have a library so that's a plus.

Mitch I ❤️ them all - big stores, small stores, Indies..! As a child I often walked around bookstores planning the routes I would take if I won a supermarket sweep style comp that took place in the bookstore! I‘ve never confessed that to anyone #littensunderstand !! 7y
