It was a fun read with definite stressful & life threatening situations for Kirito and to a lesser extent Asuna. On the third floor you see Asuna & Kirito‘s bond strengthen, but they are together/partners, it‘s temporary (or so they say). 😉 You also see Kirito growing from a solo player out for himself into something more.
Finished this book in a week! That‘s only ever happened once ever! Yay!

Finally started this today. Only a few pages in, but it feels really nice to dive back into the beginnings of this series, especially via the original source material.

pickI read this book, because I'm a fan of the anime. While the quality of the writing isn't the best, this story does a brilliant job of taking virtual role-playing games and giving them life-and-death stakes.
