How has Saturday been? I had hoped to get a good start in the #NovelNovember Readathon but so tired I ended up sleeping 11 hours (most unusual) and then issue brought to my attention so had to spend a lot of today on that so little reading so far. Them tired again tonight so may be limited reading for day 1. #StupidCovid

CocoReads Not much reading here either. Or writing. I took a big fat nap and then have mostly been staring out the window. It‘s cold and blustery today. We had some sun early in the day to burn the frost off but it‘s gotten progressively more cloudy and windy. 4y

JacqMac Excellent hashtag! I have fallen into the TV today. I did do a little cooking. And drank a whole lot of tea, but I‘m having trouble concentrating on reading. It‘s going to be a slow readathon for me, too. 4y

Lynnsoprano Had a chance to read this morning after I finished all the exercises for my knee. Grandson is keeping me entertained this afternoon. 😄 The 6yo is a nonstop talker who asks a million questions. He‘s wearing me out. 4y

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick No results yet so I'm still in the hotel. Woke up and did a couple hours of easy work while I was feeling motivated. I read about 100 pages in a book to finish that up. I'm back at the desk to do some bookish tasks toward my Crush the Rush Goals, catch up on a bit that I've missed here, and then I plan to finish the last 100 or so pages of Legendary. Having time to myself will hopefully allow me to get stuff done I otherwise might not. 4y

Velvetfur I'm glad you had so much sleep Andrew, your body needed it 👍🏻 Still no news for me about the DBS check but agency hope it gets done over weekend so I can start on Tues or Thurs next week. Went for a nice long walk today and got totally rained on, brolly finally broke completely so had to put in a bin, but strangely I enjoyed being out in the rain! Rain didn't get heavy, maybe that's why 🙂 4y

IamIamIam Hugs to everyone!!! I'm having a tough time getting settled because I'm still achy and everyone seems to think nothing happened yesterday so I'm in demand as much as I usually am... 🙄 I'm hoping to check out later, maybe hide in the basement provided I can make it down the stairs! 4y

TheSpineView I'm exhausted too. I spent the entire day at a horse show. Was up at 5am and at the barn a little after 6AM. 15 riders and horses from my barn went. 5 trailers, 13 horses, 1 trainer and 4 helpers (to wrangle the younger kids). I rode my own horse but spent a lot of free time helping the younger kids. Just want to sleep. 4y

JanuarieTimewalker13 I‘m watching the film Edie and loving it!! Set in Scotland and I said to myself: “I think this looks familiar from Andrew‘s photos!!”. Film on pause bc I had to eat and charge phone. I finished an audiobook...this is the kind of multitasking I like. Lol 4y

Velvetfur @EadieB I agree about the news media trying to make people think what they want them to think 🙂 I don't actually read any news, I just see headlines here and there, but I also don't always think to look for more detailed info elsewhere - that can be a new year resolution for me, maybe! Andrew65 @eadieb @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks We should always make our comments or posts on Litsy. Positive, so that we all keep Litsy the positive place it is. If it‘s not positive or argumentative best avoided. Obviously tensions around politics in US at this moment are very emotive on many levels, and running high. So put simply should be avoided. 4y

Andrew65 @eadieb I can‘t control what people say or think, or their opinions, and not my site I just put some daily posts up so as a group we SUPPORT each other. Not my job to control people who are disagreeing or get involved in their disagreements. We are all adults and responsible for our own actions. (edited) 4y
