Ok, so...this isn‘t book-related but I needed to share.
We spotted a *very* exclusive clubhouse on our post-post office walkabout this afternoon.
One nice thing about moving is that there are loads of new neighborhoods to explore. The sign on this treehouse-haunt really got me good. 😅

Not today, Mr Slug...not today
Kiddo got up just over an hour earlier than I expected (so just as I was really waking up after hubby left for work). So, after breakfast we went for a walk (#Litsywalkers I joined you today!). Courtesy of the early morning rain (a little Lightfoot there) we counted 66 slugs on our 1.25-mile walk around the neighborhood. We stopped to watch one on the move. They give me the willies, but yay for science lesson!
The slug is a nonfiction book that uses humor to educate students about the topic of slugs and is part of the Disgusting Critter series. pickThis is a modern fantasy book that gives the steps to teach a slug to read. I️ think this book is a great book for little ones who are beginning to read because it can apply to kids as well.
