This would be a great book for students to encourage them to cheer on each other. Student could write how they support on another and are each others “ child leaders”. Good way to build a strong community.

Week 3: Graphia! Super cute book with nice illustrations. Sends a great message to students about sending positivity. Love the characters in this book. Published April 7, 2020.

It‘s time for the Sports Fair! But everyone is getting nervous about what they want to do. Good thing Dewdrop is there to cheer them on!

The nibling ended up reading this to me twice. Gorgeous coloring and adorable pictures, easy to read, and in their words “it‘s a story about friendships and helping other people and making them happy.” 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗

@Eggs posted about this book. I love the ocean and books about it. My library had it on Hoopla so I checked it out. I enjoyed the poems — Sea Urchin made me laugh — but the illustrations make this book. It‘s really raining a lot here, so I‘m settling in to continue with Hijab Butch Blues.

KathyWheeler @Eggs It is. Just as long as the number of days of it are short. 😊 2y

Pretty picture book intermission! I've now exhausted my library's collection of works by K. O'Neill and I'm sad about it. 😢 Dewdrop is sweetly encouraging; Princess Princess Ever After is sweet enough to make my teeth ache, with good messages not seen enough in classic fairy tales for younger audiences. Moonday is further proof that when Adam Rex both writes AND illustrates a book, I will happily follow his whimsy anywhere.

Adorable! I love how Oona learns that more everyone appreciate the same things. Shark needed quiet calm reassurance. I like how this book addressed the needs of an introvert, the need to belong coupled with the anxiety of what that takes. Perfect #everybodybooks
