Top: #day6 #favfemalecharacter I chose Alice from Cell because I read this book when I was a teenager and really identified with her character. This is a screenshot of the movie version which was a decent adaptation imo.
I've never read It, and the only part of the movie I've seen is when Pennywise comes up through the shower drain. At age 10, that small glimpse of film led me to boycotting showers for over a week. I only started showering again when my hatred of the bathtub overcame my fear of the shower. #ScaredYou #StephenKing17

#ScaredYou I've gotten a lot of scares from different King novels, but if I had to pick one I would say Pet Sematary. This book gives me nervous shivers and goose flesh every time I read it. It probably doesn't help that I do most of my reading at night or when I'm home alone. 🙂😱 #StephenKing17

I haven't read any of King's truly scary stuff, but my Mom read a lot of his earlier works. We were talking about him today and she said that the short stories in Night Shift finally got to her. I've debated about it all day but I'm going to go with it for #scaredyou and #StephenKing17 I mean, Pennywise is terrifying. But I also considered The Shining and Salems Lot. They all scared the 💩 out of me!
There are just so many things scary about IT. Georgie and his boat, I mean really, this book started off with a bang and just kept going. The Loser's Club is everything. King sure can write about childhood friendships. This is the van we rode in when we took the SK tour. #scaredyou #stephenking17
