Beyond impressed. With how sexual assault was explained; delicately yet with raging emotions. Manisha went from trying to find her voice to such an incredible woman fighting back the monsterous men. Pratyush is a walking green flag. The way the story is told, that mixed timeline, worked surprisingly good. I just can‘t with how this book made me feel. Looking eagerly for more on this Indian Medusa lore.

Very short book with many twists and turns. Evident of Foxes. Yet this final book fell a little flat. It was too short and quick for putting together these characters and tossing in a new world. I wish there was more understanding between Min and the Pearl working with the government. Had hoped the book would have explored more. Who controls the gem that can terraform a planet in minutes? The “not to be trusted fox” or government?

This is all about Ghana family generation trauma. Serwa now sees what it means to be an adze vampire. The harm that‘s inflicted upon them because the slayers say so. The war never really ended. This can be difficult to walk on, yet this felt effortless. The ending caught me off guard a little, surprising. Still original. I look forward to Serwa breaking the trauma her family thought they got away from.

Literally nostalgic trip. That‘s all this is (Uncle Rick admitted Disney pushed for it). Yet still felt like a good Percy Jackson book. Totally smaller and less big fight scenes than used to. This was about growing up in the world. Wanting to move forward. Being an adult. I cried many times because I was reminded of my younger years reading PJ for the first time. So proud of these three. Total nostalgic trip. Same as Hebe‘s place.

Page one already making me cry over nostalgia. I remember reading the first in freshmen year. Ever since, Percy Jackson has been my number one comfort read. 🩵 I love Seaweed Brain & Wise Girl with the Lord of the Wild 🩵
This book is a surprisingly short at 270ish pages. Literally just enough for a nostalgic trip of the three. Awesome funny chapter titles are back just as funny and random as they were before. #RiordanPresents

This may be the first #RiordanPresents that really made me cry. Corazon is such a relatable girl who wants her parents. To not be abandoned. Saso is… well, Saso. I‘ve got no words besides I love him. The way the ending all came together is both heartbreaking and heartfelt. I just love it all. Corazon does amazing getting deity blessings in such creative ways to keep it all balanced. Never felt high staked, big fights. About staying kind

I love myself one leopard gecko who thinks he‘s a crocodile living up to the hype of such ferocity. Such a fun set of characters. Roshani is an amazing storyteller. #RiordanPresents

Not sure how I feel about this book. Liked the premise. Those without love can be taught love. The point of fate felt off. You can tell the authors note of this book was unplanned. Couple of plot hole feeling moments. Ending was odd to me, even as it brought the book together. Character development felt stagnant. Did like this scene thou, as it is a more common feeling today.

More action sequences than first, more mysterious. Yet felt slower. More deliberate in its steps. I feel content finishing the story, though it didn‘t flow as much for me. Chela and Mateo are compelling characters, and I was glad this was more on Chela. I really like her; complex and gritty. Not afraid to not pull her punches. Her inner challenge was well played. Mateo I wish continued to grow some more.
