This was a different read for me, but so compelling. It talks about the state of our American nation, and it starts very negative and scary but it ends on such an encouraging, positive note.

I've been doing this Bible study through Faith Gateway, and I highly recommend it for anyone who's ever felt a little intimidated by Revelation. I've done a couple other studies with them, but this is my favorite one so far 💜

Finished this book today. I‘ve read Revelations before on my own but this verse by verse study made it make more sense. Revelations isn‘t written in order of events but in layers, building on top of other events. If reading this book of the bible has confused or intimidated you, I totally recommend getting this to help clarify things. Very interesting and eye-opening.

Any #readathons going on? We have holed up awaiting the arrival of Storm Eunice in the early morning hours, so I figure I'll just read from now until it blows over (apparently on Monday). What do you say, fellow Brits, Irish, and continental Europeans in the path of the storm(s): #StormReadathon ftw? Keep safe, keep indoors, keep reading.

TrishB Enjoy the down time! I‘m expected in the office tomorrow and teaching is still on! 3y
Leniverse @TrishB The difference between amber and red alert, I guess! We're on the very edge of the red area, so hopefully it won't be too bad and we'll just cwtch up with books and blankets all day whilst the wind does its howling thing. 3y
rockpools Unless it takes out the wifi, I‘m working tomorrow ☹️. We‘ve had not-remotely-stressful emails from Western Power & the council though, so I‘m currently charging everything that‘ll charge! 3y

Mitch Stay safe. We‘ve got the wind now and I hate the sound! And we‘re nowhere near the peak yet! Stay safe! I‘m queueing up Netflix‘s and a stack of chunksters! 3y
Mitch @rockpools 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 3y
DivineDiana Sounds scary. Be safe. ❤️ 3y
Leniverse @rockpools Yes, we do not want a power outage! 🤞😬 3y
TrishB Exactly 🤷‍♀️ hopefully be ok. 3y
rockpools @Mitch Oh goodness, already? It‘s strangely quiet here for now! Hope it calms quickly and you can enjoy your Netflix! 3y
Cathythoughts Very calm here too , not a puff of wind. Really hoping there isn‘t a power cut ... stay safe X 3y
AmyG Stay safe! Yikes! 3y
Centique I hope you are safe from the storm. Best wishes! 3y
BarbaraBB Stay safe! We are expecting it this afternoon! 3y
LeeRHarry Hope it wasn‘t as bad as predicted - I have relatives in South Wales and they seemed to have been ok so 🤞 for you too. 3y
Leniverse @LeeRHarry The wind tore down a big part of our fence, but it really needed replacing anyway. Other than that we've been fine here. Glad your relatives are ok too! 3y

Meh, At first was Interesting but the second half of the book was boring. Way to bogged down In the metaphors and symbols of Revelation. Which if you like that then you will enjoy the book. I was interested in how the Mass mimics Revelations and that part of the book was interesting.
I feel like he could just of ended it there. Anyway I‘m not a catholic so don‘t take my review as gospel , pun intended.

4✨ This is a faith based book. The main message in this book is you need to find a quiet place to really listen. Each chapter is filled with advise and encouragement. Definitely a good read if you are struggling. Just finding time to listen can help with many struggles a person may be going through.

I have been tasked with writing a piece on books we‘re looking forward to being released in 2021 for a work project.

These are some i was hotly anticipating this year but I‘m struggling a bit for next years releases. What is on your must buy/borrow list that I should have a look at?
