Spent a ton of money on books at the school book fair. I don‘t know who was more excited!

TEArificbooks Yeah my kids get unlimited spending at the book fair. One I remembered the excitement of the fair. Two, I am a reader and they are readers. Three, it helps the school. Four, I want to establish good spending habits early. 😆 2y

No world record, but not bad. My goal was 36 (3 a month) which I was really trying to push to 40…so not quite there. Maybe next year.

Really enjoyed this - nice easy read that got me hooked even though I know nothing about jazz! #vinyldetective

#Leaves are falling all around
It's time I was on my way
Thanks to you I'm much obliged
For such a pleasant stay
But now it's time for me to go
The autumn moon lights my way
For now I smell the rain
And with it pain
And it's headed my way
Ah, sometimes I grow so tired
But I know I've got one thing I got to do
Ramble on...

Between a pick and a so-so. I don‘t generally read mysteries, but I enjoyed the British humor in this one. Actually, that was the best part... otherwise the female characters are a little stereotypical and the mystery part was average. There are more in the series, not sure if I‘ll read them at some point. But if you like humor and non-grisly murders, give this a go.

I‘ve just finished the first in this series on audio and immediately (within the same day) started the next book on audio. And to my horror it is a completely different narrator 🤯 AND the new narrator is portraying the characters COMPLETELY differently. He has managed to completely change the characters, cockneys are now posh, fast talkers are now slow. I hate it!!! This shouldn‘t be allowed 🤯
