Started a book I got for free at a Library sale and I am really enjoying it.
“Because the future champion of children's books was just a lad.“
I would use this in an upper elementary grade classroom. This would be a perfect book to introduce the importance of children's books and why we have them today.
A great story of how children's came to be. Does a great job of explaining who John Newberry was and why children's books are so important. Children in school will love learning about John Newberry!

1. The kids are out of school and switching to online learning for at least the next 2 weeks. I am a college prof and we close on Wednesday and I am currently converting all my course to an online format until March 31. All extra-curricular are suspended and all non-essential retail will be shut as of tomorrow.
