These 3 #TBRCrew challenges had varying degrees of success!

I finished #AmongTheGods and the first half of #4Horsemen and just over half of #PosedByTheBook

I really enjoyed them all, but think I overfaced myself with challenges! 🤣

This was a really good read!

After two people die following violent seizures and evidence of self cannibalisation, the CDC send one of their pathologists to investigate. She uncovers that these are not just cases signalling an epidemic, but something more sinister. Someone is testing bioweapons and it is likely that the scale of attacks will continue to increase.

This got me another 2 hours for #20in4 and was my pick for #PosedByTheBook #Cobra

I picked this one for #PosedByTheBook #TwistedSeat (a challenge which I may or may not complete by the end of the year)

This was part of a series, though I didn‘t feel like I missed anything starting part way. April is around 14 years old. After finding out her grandma is dying, her grandma tells the family about her bucket list and how she wants to go on a family skiing trip. It was written like a diary and while it was a okay, it wasn‘t for me!

I really liked the way poses were explained (In a fairly informal way!) at the beginning of sections. And that the ending didn‘t go as I expected.
Despite the MC being a massive ass half of the time, I did find him strangely likeable! And it was an enjoyable journey. The yoga teacher Gigi sounds amazing, and I need someone like her in my life!

This 938 page behemoth is apparently an abridged version of the original Japanese text. Abridged!

I am looking forward to this one though :)

My #BookSpinBingo wrap up for May.

No lines but I was pretty close there!
I read my #BookSpin book - To kill a mockingbird - but I haven‘t finished my #DoubleSpin book - Did the Earth move? I have started though 😋

I‘m a month behind with #PosedByTheBook (might be longer since I chose a Chunkster and haven‘t started haha) but managed to fit in my other challenge reads for the month!

I liked this one, and some of the writing was beautiful, but it just didn‘t resonate with me.
It is a love story between 2 people but they don‘t seem very happy together... And they didn‘t really seem very supportive. But I did like the little stories mixed together at the start!
